An Update on Our Response to COVID-19
Update as of May 21, 2020:
We want to let you know our response to the challenges we are all facing as a global community. Our priority during this time of uncertainty is balancing your expectations with the well-being of our co-workers and our community. Effective May 18, 2020, Texas Governor Abbott announced non-essential manufacturing facilities may operate up to 25% of the facility’s total listed occupancy, while our California facility is currently in Stage 2 of the Stay-at-Home order allowing to be re-opened with necessary safety modifications. We are using guidance from the CDC and our state authorities to ensure that reopening at 25% capacity is safe for co-workers and customers within the context of our local COVID-19 situation. To maintain this balance, we have made these adjustments to our operations.
- All office-based co-workers are working from home Monday–Friday while only select co-workers are allowed to work in-office at 25% capacity and/or staggered shifts.
- Customer Service co-workers will be available Monday–Friday on limited hours to assist you.
- Domestic factory co-workers are working Monday-Friday at 25% capacity and staggered shifts. Co-workers will maintain 6 feet of separation between individuals and wear PPE.
- Warehouse staff, who fulfill your orders, have reduced hours at 25% capacity. Co-workers will maintain 6 feet of separation between individuals and wear PPE. They are continuing to ship (both domestic and internationally) but at a much slower rate, and ask for your patience as they adhere to these regulations.
We are continuing to evaluate the needs of our business today while protecting our co-workers now and in the future. As soon as the situation improves, we hope to gradually resume full manufacturing operations so we can make it through this crisis together – and reemerge stronger than before.
