This dress comes in three different styles: the Uhura style, featuring the Lieutenant rank braid and Services Division patch configuration as worn by Uhura in the Original Series; the Lieutenant Commander style, featuring the Lieutenant Commander rank braid (similar to "Scotty" or "McCoy"); and the Ensign edition (with the separate braid pack for rank customization). By carefully assembling the original pattern, repeating the dye process multiple times to get the perfect match, and producing several prototypes, we re-created this outfit down to the last detail. • Proudly fabricated, constructed and Made in the USA.
• Dress constructed using original patterns from CBS archive, as well as a screen-used red uniform from the Original Series.
• Fabric dyed to match screen-used swatches from Original Series.
• Manufactured by production team that worked on Star Trek XI.

The Material:

• Fabric type matched from screen-used samples for exact authenticity.
• Tri-cut pattern on both front and back of dress.
• Invisible zipper at neckline.
• Adjustable hemline.
• Long sleeves with lieutenant's single braid for the Lieutenant Uhura Style, or long sleeves without braiding for the Ensign Style.
• Ensign Style Add-On: Separate braid kit included with instructions on proper placement of braid. Braid capable of making ranks from Lieutenant Junior Grade (dashes only) to Captain, and ranks in between.
• Ribbed black jersey neck piece.

  The shipping & handling for this item is also collected at the time of pre-order. Shipping time frame given is an estimate only and is subject to change for any reason.
  
  Furthermore, each uniform piece is shipped individually, as they are packaged that way. Should you wish to combine items in one single shipment, a fee $25 USD will be charged per order combined.
• Please have your measurements taken properly by a professional tailor if possible.
  Refer to the sizing and measurement guide to provide the correct measurements for yourself. You are responsible for the quality of measurements provided above. This is NOT a custom made piece but instead ANOVOS will assign sizing (XS, S, M, L, XL) comparing measurements provided against manufacturer's sizing charts. Buyer assumes full responsibility of sizes submitted for order. Sizes taken directly from commercial clothing should not be used as substitution of physical measurements. Upon submission of the order, the Buyer absolves ANOVOS of responsibility for incorrect measurements submitted and reserves the right for any exchanges or returns to be made at the complete discretion of ANOVOS.
• Regarding the Braid Add-On (for the Ensign Style only):
  The Braid Add-On is a kit consisting of four continuous braids and two sets of dashes, and is provided separate from the tunic, requiring that either yourself or a tailor sew on the braid configuration of your choice. Instructions will be provided for the proper placement of the braid on the sleeve.
