An ANOVOS Premier Line Piece

Following the heritage of the ANOVOS Premier Line, the highest attention to detail and manufacturing has been taken to ensure the near perfect replication of the original uniform as seen on screen and used on set. Using patterns directly from CBS/Paramount archives and Commander Riker’s hero screen-used outfit from the 3rd season, each piece was prototyped and manufactured specifically to match the pieces from the show to give the exact full representation of the construction, build and overall look of uniform. ANOVOS carefully assembled the original pattern, as well as repeated the dye process multiple times to get the perfect match, and produced several prototypes that allowed this outfit to be re-created down to the last detail. From the unique padding of the upper torso, down to the foot straps, no detail was spared in the Premier Line Two-Piece Next Generation Uniform. As with all Premier Line pieces: once this is released for the limited time, this will not be offered again in 2013.

The Next Generation Tunic

• 100% Grade-Superfine Wool Gabardine for the top, specially dyed using screen used pieces for 95% or greater, color match.
• Hidden Zipper construction for back, featuring reverse pull down as used on screen used tunics.
• Mandarin collar with maroon piping.
• Specially made shoulder padding, reflecting unique construction of original screen-used Hero uniforms used on set.
• Belt-band construction and fastening configuration exactly configured as screen used Hero uniform.
• Fully lined for maximal comfort.

The Next Generation Pant/Bib Suspender System:

• 100% wool gabardine used for the pant/bib, as sourced by the original fabric manufacturer.
• Special suspender/harness system, exactly replicated from patterns and screen used piece, to ensure maximum stability countering uniform misalignment from movement.
• “Scallop” cut at the bottom hem of the pants, for the traditional TNG officer’s pant leg.
• Expandable waist dart to allow for a range of varying pant sizes.
• Adjustable hem pant bottom.
• Fully lined for comfort.

The Accoutrements

• Replica metal combadge and rank pins attached via Earth magnets, mirroring the accoutrement used throughout the majority of Star Trek™: The Next Generation® television series.

How to Measure

Some of the basics in measuring:

1. All measurements should be taken by another person, preferably a tailor.
2. Keep the tape firm but not tight.
3. Make sure the tape is level around the area you are measuring.
4. Take measurements in inches to determine correct sizing.
5. Round up all measurements to the nearest inch. (Example: 10.5 inches round up to 11 inches.)

How to measure specific areas for fitting:

1. Chest: Measure across the widest part of the chest or across the nipples.
2. Waist: Measure from the navel point around the thinner area of the belly.
3. Neck: Measure around the adams apple of the the neck.
4. Arm Length: With your arm relaxed at side and slightly bent, measure from the center back of the neck, over point of shoulder, down the outside of the wrist.
5. Body Length: While standing up straight, measure beginning at the base of the neck to the waist in a straight line.
6. Inseam: While standing up straight, with legs slightly apart, measure from the crotch to the ankle.

Tunic Guide

Please Note: The only difference between Regular and Tall sizes are the Body and Arm Lengths. All other measurements remain the same regardless of type.

Pant Guide

Please have your measurements taken properly by a professional tailor if possible. This will help in the selection of the size you will need to purchase, but also aid in additional tailoring where needed. Furthermore, you should never take your own measurements.

PLEASE NOTE: Sizes taken directly from commercial clothing should never be used as substitution of physical measurements.

The purchase of tunics and pants will require additional tailoring similar to purchasing a men's suit at a major department store. The lengths of tunic sleeves can be adjusted, the same with the pant legs. A professional tailor, or someone with professional tailoring experience, should be able to make these alterations.
