After sourcing the original manufacturer, it became clear that this outfit in its original form had been altered drastically to reach the deep green hue seen on film. Additionally, the fabric integrity had been altered to make it more supple. Through extensive testing we discovered that over-dyeing and enzymatic washes yielded a final product that was unmistakably accurate to the screen used pieces.

Who says that official uniforms of the fleet can’t be comfortable? The set will include a jacket and pair of pants. These items will be post manufactured exactly as the originals and will have the correct buckles and shoulder material.

The set will include a belt with buckle, post-weathered. The set will also include a patch with the Battlestar of your choice (Galactica or Pegasus).

The Battlestar Galactica (BSG) Green Battle Dress Uniforms (BDU) are manufactured by the same company used by the BSG Production Staff during the filming of the 2003-2009 seasons. The costumes will be produced using the same material and processes as the original costumes made for the series.

THE PROCESS

Manufacturing:

• Produced in Canada.
• Enzyme washed to soften and give the fabric that battle-used look.
• Dyed to a darker green to match the screen-used uniforms on the show.
• Made by Cylons.

Key Features:

• Button down uniform top with buckle details over both breast pockets and cuffs.
• Pants featuring belt loops for green web belt with gold plastic snap buckle.

The Material:

• BDU top and pant dyed to match precisely with the Green BDUs used in the series.
• Dark green faux suede shoulder detail.

The Accoutrement:

• Includes green, webbed belt.
