Galactica's CAG, the loyal ECO, the hotshot pilot, the graceful petty officer, the Cylon who turned against her people: Lee "Apollo" Adama, Karl "Helo" Agathon, Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Anastasia “Dee” Dualla, and Sharon "Athena" Agathon elevated the sense of duty and honor with every riveting episode of Battlestar Galactica. These guardians of the “old lady” defended the ship in the CIC — or in the cockpit — and defined the meaning of what it was to wear the uniform.

Now the Duty Blue Junior Officer's Uniform can be yours. After research into the actual sources of these fabrics and uniforms, ANOVOS has reached an exclusive agreement to have these garments tailored by the original teams responsible for iconic blue uniforms worn onscreen. The specialized wool/blend fabric has also been re-woven specifically for production. The accompanying patch of choice will also be recreated not only from original specialized fabric, but also patch maker. No details were spared as this “replica” redefines accuracy.

Made available in the Junior Officer variant, this Junior Officer's Duty Blue uniform is customizable, including your choice of battlestar ship patch, as well as rank pins (pin options will differ depending on the Duty Blue package). All packages include a pair of double tanks.

ANOVOS has reached an agreement to have the Battlestar Galactica Duty Blue Uniforms manufactured by the same tailors used by the BSG production staff used during the 2003-2009 filming of the series. The costumes will be produced using the same material and processes as the original costumes made for the series.

THE PROCESS

Manufacturing:

• Entire product produced in Canada, using the same manufacturer and same patterns that were used on the show.
• Made by Cylons.
• Custom wool blend created for the show, produced for ANOVOS by same manufacturer.
• Exact buttons produced by same manufacturer with accurate post gold brush antiquing.
• Patches created by the original Canadian manufacturer using the same unique material, original digital art, and the same thread colors from the show.

The Material:

• Double breasted jacket with mandarin collar.
• Indigo faux-suede shoulder.
• Specialized women’s jacket cut based from a hero-ready outfit created for Katee Sackhoff (Kara "Starbuck" Thrace).
• Pant features side pockets, just like Adama's pants that were used only once in the Fourth Season.
• Light gray piping accenting the collar, jacket edge, and cuffs.
• Includes blue, webbed belt and post weathered buckle.
• Battlestar ship patch of your choice. (See “Sizing and Accessories”)
• One (1) set of Double Tanks included. (See “Sizing, Packages and Pricing”)
• One (1) pair of rank pins and, depending on the package, one (1) Flight Wing chest pin from original pin manufacturer included, with exception to the Standard Junior Officer's Duty Blue package. (See “Sizing and Packages” for details.)
• One (1) printed care guide booklet released by the Department of Defense for the Twelve Colonies of Kobol, complete with cut corners.

All Duty Blue uniforms produced by ANOVOS can be ordered with different sizes for both jacket and pant, as well as undershirts (the "Double Tanks"). For ease of tailoring, the pant is un-hemmed and the jacket cuffs can be adjusted for different arm lengths. As ANOVOS offers stock sizes only, the customer will need to have the uniform professionally tailored to fit exactly, per the rules and regulations set forth by the Colonial Fleet Admiralty, and as outlined in our Colonial Depatment of Defense care guide.

1. The "Felix Gaeta" Package

This version comes with Galactica battlestar ship patch, Junior Lieutenant rank pins, Standard Flight Wings, and double tanks. This is the version worn by Felix Gaeta before losing his leg and becoming Tom Zarek's compatriot.

This version comes with either a Pegasus or Galactica battlestar ship patch, Junior Lieutenant rank pins and double tanks.

"Daybreak" Hoshi Add-On: Become the Admiral of the Fleet, and swap out the Junior Lieutenant pins for a pair of Admiral rank pins for an additional $50.00 USD.

3. The "Lee Adama" Package

This version comes with either a Galactica or Pegasus battlestar ship patch, choice of one of three pair of rank pins (Senior Lieutenant, Captain, Major), Standard Flight Wings, and double tanks. This is the version that Lee Adama wore before assuming command of Pegasus.
